COVID Relief, Thailand
In 2020, Thailand faced a significant crisis as the COVID-19 pandemic led to widespread lockdowns and economic hardships. Vulnerable communities, including the homeless and healthcare centers, were particularly affected. This situation turned into an emergency due to the dire circumstances faced by these vulnerable groups, as access to essential resources like food, hygiene products, and medical supplies was severely limited.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Khiri Travel Thailand and Khiri Reach supported COVID Relief BKK Project initiated by Scholars of Sustenance Thailand. They promptly provided two vans loaded with necessities and goods, which were delivered to shelters for homeless people and healthcare centers. In total, over 500 bags of dry goods were distributed, offering vital assistance to those most affected by the pandemic. This collective effort underscored the significance of community support during times of crisis.
