Special People Foundation
The Special People Care Project (SPF) stands as a beacon of hope for the 1.2 million people with disabilities in Thailand. Since its inception in 2006, SPF has been on a noble mission to support organizations that provide viable employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, thereby enhancing their daily survival and bolstering their self-esteem.
Over the years, SPF has profoundly impacted the lives of more than 500 special individuals in Thailand. Their mission encompasses providing meaningful work and life skills, education, and personal development for those they serve.
In 2009 and 2015, Khiri Reach, in collaboration with its partners, extended a helping hand to SPF Chiang Mai by purchasing 1,000 cotton Earth Bags crafted by adults and children with impairments. This act of generosity not only facilitated the creation of essential equipment such as wheelchairs and walking sticks but also enabled vital physical therapy sessions. As a result, many individuals found renewed motivation and the opportunity to rejoin and actively participate in their communities, illustrating the transformative impact of SPF’s endeavors.
